Im a commercial real estate agent in Multi family. I would like to get referrals form residential real estate agents who have a multi family prospect. I will probably start off with an email campaign,

Any ideas on how I should approach this ?

What wording should I use in my email ?

but , yes that sounds like good advice ,

my main question is how do I approach lenders doing this ?

yes I am looking for leads , however I assume  that it must e a 2 way street, I would refer a client when the time comes.

When building a relationship with a lender, what types of questions should you ask to start the conversation that could potentially lead to referrals

on a YouTube video I saw a commercial real estate agent who said that he regularly contacts lenders by either email or letters and the purpose is to try to get prospects such as new investors or possibly even sellers he even said he meets with lenders what I want to know is how is this done how do I approach a lender through email or letter and what should I say I'm just not sure if I approach a lender directly and telling them I'm looking for prospects that may not sound right is there a better way to introduce myself

Thomas, very well spoken......

bump

Forget about relist right away, too competitive, and then you are making too many contacts in too short a time, as Eddie said  its 6-12 months later, adjust your schedule accordingly. Also it doesnt hurt to drop by in person and talk to the owners
