@Aaron Montague

Thank you so much for your reply. I guess I should have been more specific in my post, I've been on the fence with rei since 2004 so I'm not really that new to the game just haven't pulled the trigger yet hence my post on looking for a mentor.

I'm looking for small apt buildings 5-20 units to buy and hold. And no not in NY just not cost effective for a small investor like me, so I'm looking in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Louisville.

And yeah the whole NY/Boston thing won't be a good fit. Lol

I'm thankful to BP for the wealth of info that is available through your site and podcasts. I just started listening to the podcast and joined the forum this past October and I know with me continuing to use the forum communicating with like minded people I will succeed this go around in real estate investing. Can't wait to see what will happen in 2015.

I have been listening to the bp podcasts and really want to get into real estate investing in NY. But I know I can't do it by myself successfully. So if there is anyone out their that wants a humble person to join their team I'm here.

Just finished at my first REIA meeting it was amazing interacting with likeminded people like me. I think I got very lucky tonight I meet a guy that would like to mentor me for the next 3 months on apartment buying.

Everything happens for a reason I found the bigger pockets podcast this Monday and have listened to 20 episodes already. I feel like the info that I'm getting from this podcast is amazing and is giving me the courage to finally pull the money out of my IRA and put it all in real estate. Looking to find my team cause you can't do it all yourself.
