@Chris M. The 50% figure must have been referring to short-term (vacation) rental management - that can often be between 30-50%, but is a whole different animal than long term management where 10% is standard. Full service management is often not the answer for a newcomer who is very dependent on cash flow, but sometimes is the only option if you're unavailable due to living out of town or other obligations. Lease-only is another option. Property management is my field and I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have - just shoot me a PM.
