@Brandon Bimestefer, I recommend having a Realtor prepare numbers for both long-term and short-term rentals.  Short-term can be very lucrative (depending on location, property) but there are start-up costs associated.  Short-term can be riskier but with more return.  Depends on your comfort level with risk too.  Good luck and keep us posted!
