The meetup was designed to build a community of like-minded people, motivated to crush it in real estate. We collaborate over beers, share knowledge, and network with those on a similar path, while expanding our knowledge base together.

Not stuffy, zero sales pitch, and good vibes only.  This month Sunny Alexander will give a class on analyzing deals!

"Pints & Properties" is a nationwide real estate investors meetup to collaborate over beers, share knowledge, and network with like-minded people. We will meet at Tampa's one and only "Love's Shack"
April's Speaker:

Vicky Greene brings over 25 years of real estate management, investing, and marketing experience to support the needs and efforts of new and seasoned investors. Her background in accounting for a land development company, owning her own construction business, and in managing portfolios with thousands of units of rental properties (including production and purchasing of advertising media and training real estate sales and management personnel) has given her invaluable business insight that she enthusiastically shares in her trainings and mentorships.
Her own real estate investing began in the early 90’s when interest rates were still high compared to today. As a result, her career began with creative financing like loan assumptions, lease options and seller financing – before knowing these strategies had a name!
Since then, Vicky has held real estate licenses in two states, holds a mortgage license in Florida, has been a guest speaker on real estate industry panels, a member of the Board of Directors for a local landlord association, a contributing writer for an investment magazine, a host for a weekly investor forum, a trainer and a mentor for domestic and international students, and the author of multiple training programs and learning tools/systems in the field of real estate investing and marketing. Currently, she and her team actively hold shared housing property, flips and wholesale with multiple property types in multiple states. Her passion for real estate has inspired the next generation of investors in her family to build their real estate businesses to create a path to financial freedom as well.
Vicky takes the most pride in being able to help people move forward with their real estate goals and make a life-changing difference by applying the knowledge they gain. To that end, she has pledged her support and encouragement to those who act on what they learn. This has resulted in amazing bonds with fellow investors throughout the country.

Recommend using a "second/vacation" home loan product. You will not be able to use your VA loan unless your OK cabin is your primary residence. If your OK cabin will be your primary residence, you do have some entitlement left on your VA loan and I would recommend talking to a VA loan lender. I would be real sad to give up 2.25% interest rate:) Good luck!

My recommendation is to interview a few companies. You have "big box" PMs and local PMs. I own a National Franchise PM company but we are local in our market and boots on the ground. Others companies do everything remotely. It really depends on what you are looking for. Some investors just want a check deposited monthly from revenue, others are a little more hands-on, and some manage themselves. You will find everyone has a strong opinion on their preference (as they should). If you start talking to a few companies I am confident you will find the right type of management for you.  Good luck, that is exciting!

STR in South Tampa may be a good fit for you. Ideally, a duplex and STR both out!
