@Armando Jalomo

@Bob Malecki

@Darren Eady

Thank you all for the honest, positive feedback! Eddie has so much knowledge, I can tell from going through this home study course that we have. It was worth the money, it cost around $900.00.

I am hopeful that his other education courses will be worth the money as well. Thanks again.

Hello All!

I have questions specifically for those who have completed any training through Eddie Speed...

A little background on my company- we are family run and invest in multi units and do a flip here and there. We believe there is a great opportunity to make money right now on non-performing notes and are considering attending the 3 day note course from Eddie Speed.  I am aware that they will be trying to sell coaching at this class.

Important: We have bought and sold notes in the past (about 10 years ago) and have owned mortgage companies and been involved in the finance aspect of the business. Being out of the game for 10 years, and having the market change so much we are looking for some guidance and want to be smart about staying away from bad deals.

We bought to home study note course and we are finding some great and helpful information from the course. That doesn't necessarily mean that we feel ready to start buying.

Has anyone attended the 3 day training, or paid for the coaching through Eddie Speed?? My parents are looking into attending the training next month, and we want to ask opinions and see if the info there is applicable and helpful. We want the confidence to move forward and buy a NPN soon after.

Have you been provided with good information and leads? Do you feel supported? Do you feel that the investment for coaching was worth it?

I am cautious of real estate gurus, however I am not hesitant to invest in an education if it is worth it.

Thanks for your feedback!

Stefanie

I am selling a Haverhill 2 family that I bought 2 years ago, the closing is Thursday- Yay! We were able to make a great rental income and profit on this property. It was under contract within 48 hours of putting it on the market. For those of you  searching in the area, I know it's tough to change your mindset, but it's a sellers market in Haverhill area right now, I would look elsewhere as suggested above. Good luck!

I think that investing in syndicated deals can give amazing returns on investment, but only if you do it with people who know what they're doing! I have a goal of putting together my first syndicated deal by the end of 2016. My advice would be to read read read. Regarding Dave Lindahl- I am aware of that scam article and don't agree with it. He owns over 8000 units, I believe in learning from those who are actually practicing what they preach. He does educate people on how to do these deals, but it's what you do with the education that determines if you're sucessful or not. I doesn't hurt to read his book and then make your own judgment. Read other books suggested by other members too! We are all here to help and that's my 2 cents. Good luck!!!!

 Hi Noah, your next step should be to contact a loan officer through a mortgage broker, or credit union. I found that they are usually more helpful than banks and direct lenders. They will tell you exactly what you qualify for, and how much you'll need to put down.

If you find a foreclosure in MA for 50-80K, generally speaking you will not be able to get any kind of loan on that property because it will need so much work. So you would need to pay in full for the property.

Again, I would buy a multi family and live in it while collecting rent as the other BPers advised. You may need to save for a year for the downpayment, but have patience and educate yourself on the legality of being a landlord and homeowner in the meantime. Read all of the books you can, you can find great e books and recommendations on BP.

Hi Noah,

Sometimes in order to be able to bid on foreclosure you need proof of 5-10K cash reserves, not sure where you are looking to buy foreclosures through.

I would highly recommend buying a multi family and living in one of the units to those who are just starting out. If it needs some work that you are able to do on your own or with friends that is a plus also. Stick with it- it's not easy... but it's not rocket science either!

@Matt Lefebvre Nice to connect, we are mostly looking in FL, TN and TX. We would consider Manchester or Nashua if the properties met our criteria, which I can inbox to you if you want me to. And yes, I definitely prefer THIS social media LOL.

@Christy Delaney That is awesome, it is a great first move if you're not sure where to start. Good luck.
