Hey @Evelize Ramos! Rochester native here. You could check out some of the local meetups if you get a chance. There are several in Rochester with layers of succesful people. I would also check out some of the Landlord or investing events here if you can.

@Thuan Pham any specific reason for the attraction to the Charlotte area? I'm familiar and can speak to it if you want to know more. 

I agree with @Darius Ogloza about expanding your parameters - but it depends on what your goals are.

There are several areas in Rochester that have vintage architechure, historical significance and/or value, and there are storied sections of the city. 

IMO the Rochester investor market generally sees less fluctuation than the primary market. We've seen a big push in increased pricing due to lack of inventory. You'll find the areas it sounds like you may be interested have seen some of the greatest inflation. The market still needs to see an influx of sellers to help balance out.

BP should have a myriad of connections for finding decent contractors in this area. I have a few myself depending on the need.
