How to buy my first house for house hack?

Hey Bigger Pockets family,

I am new to the forum scene, been listening in on podcasts for quite awhile and have wanted to get my portfolio going for a good time, but I'm currently a full time student, unemployed, and no massive savings for a down payment. According to credit karma I have very good credit though.  I've been hunting deals on Craigslist, zilliow, and realtor.com but most are either low coc or cash flow. I am looking to invest into the Rochester ny market as I will be in college for another few years. I don't care the type of house, long as I can house hack and grow my portfolio. But I just have no clue how to fund once I find that deal. Love to hear anyone else that pulled out a buy from similar circumstance.

regards,

neil
