Hey y’all. I’m currently house hacking a 3 family home. I’ll be purchasing a second triplex to house hacking again by the summer. How soon should I start looking for someone to rent my place? What should I be doing so that it’s a smooth transition?

Thank you. This is my time as a homeowner for this upcoming tax season. I hear there are tax benefits for homeowners but i dont know what they are. I want to get the most money back when I file. What do I need to do to ensure I get the most back? I’m located in CT.

Greetings! I'm doing some long term planning for purchasing my second small multi family which I plan to house hack. I'm currently on a FHA loan and I don't think I can use it again. I believe for my 2nd home I can put down 5% and get a conventional loan. Should I refinance my current loan to qualify for a FHA loan to use 3.5 % down for my second home? Or should I just put down the 5% conventional? Also, when is the best time to refinance?
