Greetings! I'm doing some long term planning for purchasing my second small multi family which I plan to house hack. I'm currently on a FHA loan and I don't think I can use it again. I believe for my 2nd home I can put down 5% and get a conventional loan. Should I refinance my current loan to qualify for a FHA loan to use 3.5 % down for my second home? Or should I just put down the 5% conventional? Also, when is the best time to refinance?

Happy Holidays y'all. I purchased a small multi family in August, and I'm currently house hacking. I did the FHA loan and put down 3.5 %. My question is do I really have to live it in for a year before I can move out? I see another multi family that I want to purchase like NOW! Pls let me know.

Hello. How soon can I refinance my home? I closed in late August! I am trying to get a second investment property. I currently own a triplex, I put down 3.5 %, currently house hacking. I assume I don’t have any equity in the home yet because it’s new and I just made my first mortgage payment. I’m trying to find how can I leverage my current home to get my second home. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Greetings y’all. I recently closed on a home in August, and I’m wondering how soon can I leverage this home to purchase a condo? I assume my equity is limited since I closed in August (I’m currently house hacking and put down 3.5%) bottom line is I need 20% for a down payment since it’s going to be purely an investment property and I’m just trying to figure out how to raise the 20%. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

@Ryan Deasy Hi Ryan. Thank you. I have a few outlets nor working and my fridge isn’t. I’m assuming it has to do with the outlet. I also want to add in some lights in and outside of the house.
