Greetings. I just closed on my first triplex last week and i would like to purchase another home ASAP! How can I leverage my triplex so that I don’t have to come out my pocket 20% for a down payment?

@Jim K. Yes I have the leases. It’s just a matter of meeting them and telling them how to pay rent going forward.

Greetings. Just purchased my first Triplex and it came with tenants. I didn’t meet them during the home buying process. What’s the best way to introduce myself? Should I simply knock on their door? Should I write a letter? I also need to tell them how to pay their rent. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey y’all. I’m buying a 3 family home in Connecticut and shopping for insurance. I’ve been getting quotes between $3000-$4000 annually. Seems a bit high to me. How much are you paying for home insurance on a triplex? PS-the house is $4000 square feet.
