I say join the military as an officer. Military pays for schooling. Stay in for atleast 1 enlistment, go to school, and use the VA loan to buy your 4 plex. No down payment needed. Also you get paid so much as an officer. Most of your pay is not taxable. Save your money up and buy more properties while you are serving in the military. Also, you can get other benefits if you speak another language. Promise I am am not a military recruiter I just think that anyone who has a degree and no job yet desires a job should definitely consider joining. Most people who had some prior knowledge of investing in real estate while serving in the military buy properties at each duty station. Why? Because you are only required to live in in your permanent residence. Well if your military career takes you to another area you can use the VA loan again to buy a new house. Isn't that awesome. I would love to talk to you more about investing while serving in the military. If you would like to learn more just let me know. Just like Andrew said there is nothing stopping you from Investing in Real Estate while you are in school. Actually I'd recommend it. House hacking is gold if you don't mind roommates. I hope to hear from you soon.

This is an event educating individuals about proper financial management. Which is THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF Real Estate investing. We all know it takes money to invest whether it's ours or someone else's. But how many people are really a well rounded money manager for lack of better word? Hopefully many. My goal here is to get Investors educated on where their own finances are going or not going prior to their first investment. This event is strictly for helping the smart investor, whether it be real estate, stocks and bonds, or entrepreneurs. There is a $7 fee and minimal seating available. If you would like to attend this great event feel free to send a PM. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello All,

My 66yr old grandmother inherited a house from the man she took care of for 5 years. He passes and left her the home. She can not afford to care for the home so she gave it to me. She currently lives in the home. I want to fix it up a little for her and pay for the taxes, gas, electric, and water. It should total approximately $350 a month. I am thinking of fixing it up enough and doing a refinance on an use the money to invest in other properties. Im trying to 1. Figure out whats best for my grandma. 2. Be able to pay the basic needs for this home. 3. Use the home to build a real estate career. The home is in Rome, Georgia. My aim is to get 3 more investment properties in the same area. Any suggestions on what you guys would do? If you need more information please just as. I got an estimate of 114k on the Internet but im sure that's not right. Maybe its worth 50k in its current condition. Thanks in advance .
