Up where we are in northern NH there isn't a large inventory to begin with but I am seeing properties that are sitting on the market sometimes a year or more. It depends on how the local town is doing. As was mentioned before berlin can be pretty low in rent, but at the same time we had a triplex go just a couple months ago for under 40k. So low entry if the repairs aren't too bad. A local flipper in Lancaster sold a house for 225k that he bought last year for 32k. I was trying to get ahold of him to find out how much he spent on repairs but right after he sold it he went on vacation for awhile, lol. It can be weird as was mentioned, million dollar homes just a mile away from a trailer park but NH has always had a large tourism business. One of my hs classmates makes a good profit on an AirBnB he runs out of a second unit in his own home, he is big into the hiking scene like @Al Bigonia , and has many guests who come here for that or skiing. My wife and I are always willing to chat with anyone about the market and love to add people to our constantly growing network, so any of you feel free to drop us a line.
