Hi there! What’s been your experience investing in Merced, California? Good/bad/ugly?

Anyone out there know per California building code of the term “individual dwelling unit” essentially means a house? Or is it like a bedroom?

This is in context of a smoke alarm interconnection for R-3.1 (residential care facilities)
