@Marcelle Abel

Hi Marcelle I am in agent in Cincinnati, OH and I would say we are landlord friendly, lower price point to start at, and with the right property, can cash flow! Don't look over NKY though. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me and we can get talking from there and I can do my best to answer any question about Cincinnati and the area

For anyone that sees this, HI! i'm Sam, I am an agent in Cincinnati, OH. I plan to get my KY license in the next couple months, but I decided to get Ohio first, simply because I believe there is more opportunity here. I am going to be buying my first property soon and house hacking a small multifamily. How soon? That is a great question, I am not sure of it myself, but I know it will happen of course. I am happy to connect with anyone on here, if you're another agent, investor, contractor, etc., literally anyone! Feel free to DM me about the Greater Cincinnati (Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky) area, and I will do my best to answer any question you may have! I am excited to connect with everyone and grow!

@Billy Anderson

Hey Billy. It isn't meant to be "living for free" it is meant to lower the expense of housing. Lots of people hype it up to be almighty (it is!), but it isn't the holy grail some make it out to be. The main point of it, is to lower the most expensive part of living, housing.

Look at earlier in thread.  He isn't really house hacking since he isn't living there.  Just doing a long term rental but renting out by room...

So true

Did you use a conventional loan to buy the property?

 Yes, I did with 15% down.

Okay good, you scared me for a second saying house hacking and then saying not living there. Don't scare me like that, it's not halloween yet

@Timothy Rosio

If you are comfortable with investing out of state (I recommend David Greene's Long Distance Real Estate Investing if you are interested), I would recommend Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky as a start to investing. I am an agent in Cincinnati, and I can connect you with people I know personally from NKY if you like it there! Feel free to DM me and I can answer any question you may have!

@Sohail Rezaie

Hi Sohail, I am an agent in the Cincinnati market and I believe Cincinnati may answer your questions. It is in the midwest, known for cash flow and lower prices. I would have a contractor lined up to work with as well. Feel free to DM me for any questions!

@Rajiv Bm

Hey Rajiv, if you are looking for my cash flow, I highly recommend the midwest market. I am sure you have heard that 100 times already but there's good reason. As well as that, if you happen to want to look in Cincinnati or NKY, I can help you out and find you a great property! Please, DM me if you have any questions about these markets and I will be happy to help!
