SpaceX is a company I really believe in. Starlink could be the catalyst that launches it into profitability and with a potential spin-off, SpaceX has massive potential.

Launched my first SPV for SpaceX stock. Touzi Capital's first of many private company SPVs. This one closed very quickly, but I'm working on expanding and finding many more great opportunities for our investors.

Very excited for the future of Touzi Capital and our investors. I love bringing great alternative and private investments to our investors and we continue to grow in a very diversified way.

Touzi Capital has closed our first Teracel Blockchain Fund this week. This was an amazing opportunity to invest in bitcoin mining operations with returns loosely correlated to bitcoins value. It uniquely combines two things we love - cash flow and depreciation.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Bitcoin is a hot investment and this is a great entry into the crypto space for our investors.

Very easily achievable in real estate syndications. I love assisted living as a predictable asset but multifamily can get there too

We launched our first blockchain fund (we’re nearly all real estate, around $110MM aum). The returns are pretty wild - even if btc stays flat 40% returns - and since the mines depreciate there’s even tax advantages. It’s a pretty great looking class of investment that I recommend at least checking out.

Touzi Capital & FTW Investments present the Historic Kansas City Portfolio, an investment offering comprising of 4 properties in North East Kansas City.
At below-market rents, this 101 unit portfolio is a value-add opportunity with significant upside.
Synergies, like close proximity, shared management between the 4 properties and local market familiarity make this offering a strategic addition to Touzi Capital & FTW Investments’ existing portfolio of 534 units in Kansas City, Missouri.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Negotiated a 7% price reduction on the purchase price of this portfolio. Based on our regional operators assessment of the properties, they were able to determine and agree upon a fair market value offer price. Although the portfolio will be purchased at $3.7M, the portfolio was recently appraised at $5.365M. This difference presents a significant opportunity for investors to capitalize on the exit.

How did you add value to the deal?

This investment offers significant upside using a value-add strategy. With current rents well below market, renovation, rehab and re-branding will increase property value and force appreciation.

Good news! The IRS just issued another extension for investing into Opportunity Zones! This is a great way to defer and reduce your capital gains taxes on the sale of stocks (or any capital gains), both short term and long term!Effectively, this means that for any gain recognized by an individual on or after October 4, 2019 and before October 2, 2020, there is no 180-day period but rather a single deadline of March 31, 2021.
