I am a real estate broker in Charlotte, NC and am currently trying to roll out a new set of services to specifically help investors. I was hoping new investors or even seasoned investors would be willing to give me some feedback on a few questions I have to help me drill down what I should be doing to better service investors. The questions I’m trying to get answered are as follows:
1. What were some of the key motivations for you to want to invest in real estate?
2. Why was that important to you?
3. How was that impacting your day to day life? Be specific and use detail- what is/was the financial, emotional, and psychological pain that you are/were experiencing?
4. How was that impacting the relationship with your loved ones?
5. What is/was the biggest headache you are/were facing? Try to be specific as you can- what is/was the financial, emotional, and psychological pain that you are/were experiencing?
6. What reservations do/did you have about working with a real estate broker?
7. Was there a specific moment that triggered you to decide to act and say to yourself “Okay, we need to do this NOW because I can’t deal with X anymore.” (Ex. feeling like you wanted a better life, to impress your family/friends, financial freedom)
8. How is/was it impacting your days at work? Taking up any mental space/time?
9. What is/was your biggest obstacle when it came to finding the right house and realtor?
10. If someone created a set of services that solved this exact problem, what are some things you would absolutely have to see in them? What do you think people really want to see in a service like that?
Thank you so much in advance, please answer as honestly as you can. Your answers could really help other investors that are feeling the same as you are/were.
