I sold my home and have 350k to invest for approx 3 months before I need it to build a new home. Where would be the best place to have it besides a standard savings acct?

Looking for anybody with experience on evictions during Covid. We generally have a good group of renters although I do have a unit that the water bill is in the tenants name but it is ultimately the landlords responsibility to pay if it is not kept up to date. I currently have a tenant who is up-to-date on her rent (late every month) but apparently is not paying the water bill. Can she be evicted during this Covid issue due to this?

I am ultimately hoping that she will take care of the bill and we can move forward I just need to know what my options are thx

We sold our house. We now have 400k to use to build new house that will cost approx 600k.

With low rates should we get a loan for 80% and invest the difference or use the 400k to pay building costs?

I purchased a three-quarter acre lot on a lake And will be building a new home in the spring. I would like to purchase the vacant lot next-door also. I contacted the owner son and he told me that the property is in a trust for him when his mother passes away he is open to sell it but he cannot sell until his mother dies because they do not want to pay gains taxes on the property. Does anybody have any ideas of how to acquire the property with these circumstances?

With the historically low rate that we are receiving right now is anybody else refinancing their properties. I spoke to my main loan guy and he told me that yes the rates are low but you are going to have to pay points which really doesn’t give me an advantage. Loans are now

350k @ 4.87

250k @ 4.87

350k @ 3.75
