Hello Guys, So I purchased a property in January of this year. I received a phone call today from the mortgage lender asking if I wanted to refinance with the Fha streamline. He said my rate will go from a 3.75 to 3.3 and I can save $270 a month.my My MIP is payed off.

I do not know anything about the streamline refinance. Is he trying to sell me on something or it is a great way to lower my mortgage? Thanks in advance.

The difference is reserves. Fh a for a 2 family you must have 2 months reserves/3 family 3 months. With Mass housing it's 6 months reserves, which is a lot depending on the purchase price of the home

The wife asked if I can changed the locks because she is having problems with the husband.I was thinking I can not lock the husband out because he is on the lease and pays rent.so Is there a way to handle this or just start the eviction process? *They are on a month to month lease*
