I don’t think it’s the hours - I run 4 successful businesses and still find all my deals myself. It’s about being effective and strategic. All my leads come to me.

Mark - digital marketing is not only the work around but much more effective than any list.

I think podcasts are more beneficial - BP also gives you calculators to play around with to put what you read and hear into action. How long have you been educating yourself in wholesaling?

@Mason Adelman Absolutely - you will be dealing with distressed homeowners - being that therapist and closing will be key - you will need all the EQ you can get :)

@Mason Adelman I think we spend much time reading about Real Estate. The book I highly recommend is Emotional Intelligence - Why it’s better than IQ by Daniel Goleman. Emotions make 90 percent of our decisions not logic. If that was the case logic says go to the gym you will be healthy for example, and so on. Great book with great insight.

Yes but think about this. We all have the same 24 hours - why are some more successful than others. It’s the time versus effective strategic initiatives. For example: what do you do when you don’t know something or want to find an answer? You google it right? What makes you think people aren’t googling “how to avoid bankruptcy” or “how to sell my home with no fees” etc. because they are googling it - you just have to get in front of them. Driving for dollars and postcards are nice but on a scale I’d 1-10 ans time value might not make sense. Hope this helps. Everyone’s stuck on the archaic ways still when we have technology on our side. Dm me if you have any questions.

Hey Armagh / hope your journey with real estate is going well. What process are you in? Have you done all your research and now looking for properties or you are just getting your feet wet.

Work smarter not harder. In the day and age of the internet you can digital market and have motivated sellers reach out to you. Let me give you a simple example. What do you do when you don’t know the answer to something? You google it right? What makes you think homeowners who are in situations aren’t searching “how to avoid bankruptcy” or “how to sell my home ASAP” well they definitely are - because they end up in front of me. Think outside the box. It’s like comparing blockbuster video and Netflix that’s how I see driving for dollars hoping someone will sell as opposed to being in front of motivated homeowners because they want you in front of them. Hope this helps.

@Stephen Noonan in the day and age of the internet you shouldn’t really be paying for information. If you are a newbie you need to find a mentor. That’s your best bet. Hope this helps. I am in the business of running an efficient and strategic business for example wholesaling and flipping homes. We all have the same 24 hours why are some more successful than others ... it’s because their processes are more efficient and effective then others. Don’t be a sheep. Figure out what works for you and get a mentor as well if you can :) dm me if you have further questions.
