Well done @Junior Salters ! So how many letters did you send out to get this deal (and did you send more than one letter to the same person)? Will you continue to use this same marketing strategy for future deals?

Welcome @Bernard Carpenter I'm also in the Atlanta area and hoping to attend next week's BP Atlanta meet up so hopefully we'll meet then. I haven't been to any of the Atlanta REIA meet-ups but have been to some of the Georgia REIA ones.

@Michael Nash. There's the GA REIA and Atlanta REIA. I belong to the Georgia one but I know some investors who belong to the Atlanta one. Go try them out before you sign up as a member and see which one you prefer.

Hi Iris Burrows. I'm in the Atlanta area and also felt a bit awkward about networking with RE investors. I'm a stay at home mom so don't tend to have too much in common with others in the industry. I joined the Georgia REIA and go to lots of meetings. I find that it's not an issue - no one is concerned about your 'day job'. They just want to talk about property and deals.
