Congrats!! I know that is a big relief..

Your commission is your income. It is either direct deposited into your bank account or sent to you as a check (at least this is how my brokerage operates). So, saving your commission will be the same as saving money in your bank account from your earned income on a job. There bank wants to see proof of funds for your down payment in your account for at least 2 months.

You can search for meetups in your area and try to partner with an experienced investor being that you have cash to invest with. As I was told several times, you should not drain all your capital on a deal btw....
