@Garrett Ayers Hello! My name is Joseph. My family and I moved here a little over a year ago. When I was in Detroit, I worked in property management, rehab, etc. I also sold a few properties. I honestly don't know much about Tulsa and what the future holds. However, I would love to do real estate development in North Tulsa.

@Account Closed Thank you! I appreciate that advice. I have never been apart of an auction. I don't want to make any bad decisions on my first go around.

Good Morning! I plan on taking part in next years property tax auction. I currently live in Oklahoma. But, I'm from Detroit. I plan on saving at least $5k for the purchase. I know I'll need more for the repair. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

@Dave Rav Thank you! What you stated makes great sense. I also thought about going to the local community college here to major in interior design. When I first looked at it, I felt as that major was only for women. However, after looking more into it, I’ll learn things like reading blue prints, estimating rehab cost, floor plans, space planning, historic periods, etc.

@Jonathan Greer Thank you! The local union here is pretty easy to get in. Just to start with the union, the gentleman stated that I just have to pay the first months dues. Before that, they’ll talk to me to make sure it’s something that I really want to do. The only thing that concerns me is the layoffs. I can’t afford when I consider my family.
