Hi all, looking for leads or reviews good or bad for property management in the Madison Wisconsin area Tia. 

I'm really intrigued by the coming results of the slow down and shut down of some main stores and malls. In my opinion something has to take the place of these businesses, be it new ones, or even housing. It seems like an opportunity for some forward thinking individuals and a great money making opportunity. What concerns me are the jobs lost especially for starter jobs for young people

@Ham Merritt, I am planning on conventional mortgage with 20% down payment from my heloc 

I'm looking to make my first deal and have decided on using my heloc for my down payment, is there anybody in Wisconsin or Madison area that has used this strategy? Is there any certain banks or credit unions that are better to use for this strategy? I was told some banks will not lend to you this way as you are taking a loan to pay for a loan. 

Thank you for the responses, and please forgive me as I am new to this. How does the refi work to get your money back? This is the detail that is alluding me. 

I'm trying to fully understand the value of brrrr while still being a newbie, what is the value or point of the refi part? How do you receive your money back in order to reinvest?

hey all, im in the process of nailing down the data for my first deal. I am trying to run all my numbers and am curious  about different cities growth rates, i want to make sure the cities im investing in are growing.  When i google looking for data i get moved all over the place trying to find current data, where is a good place to find current growth data and also other useful data? Thanks in advance for the great advice!

Looking for my first property and am interested in multi families. When I look at one's with existing tenants can I look at the existing lease agreement before purchasing, am I bound by the lease if I purchase and if so when could I break the lease
