Skip tracing is quick and easy. Also talking to the neighbors is great, plus you can get info from them(history of the property, owner's situation etc).

I also find it time consuming that we have to load more posts manually. But overall the app is awesome. Thanks!

Driving for dollars is old school but it works well. Also you really get the feel for an area by driving thru.

Are vacant houses even worth pursuing?
Yes, yes and yes.
My best deals have come from locating vacant houses.

You can talk to neighbors or mail a letter, but fastest way is to use skip trace service, they will give you the persons current address and even phone number in seconds. Just costs more.

Are you gonna try to buy them yourself from the bank or short sale or something?

Talking to neighbors is great because they can sometimes provide you with a phone#. But the best part is they can give you the history of the property. Don't be shy, knock on the doors. Most people are happy to see an investor who wants to fix up the neighborhood eye sore.

Lan Kawas, Grant Hwang, you guys wanna go?

This event sounds great but I won't be able to make it. I am glad BiggerPockets is doing a WA meetup, I hope it becomes a regular thing.

Tim, next time you have something going on in your area again please let me know. I like the smaller group networking events.

Post: Anyone have a contact at List Source?

I purchased a list and did not get the list. List Source representative asked me to purchase it again to see if it will work. I purchased the list again and still did not get the list. They won't give me a refund until I purchase the list correctly.

I have purchased lists before, it is a problem with them. Any help would be appreciated.

That would be a great idea. Any ideas on location yet?
