Hopefully this got resolved for you.  Not sure where you are in NS - but if it's anywhere close to HRM - even if you didn't' get the March rent - as long as that tenant leaves - you'll be in a MUCH better spot to re-rent at market rent - which is definitely higher than it would have been from a year ago.  The PM should have started the eviction process 15 days after the rent was overdue for sure.  I also use PM's for some of my properties and even though they are very good -- it's always a good idea to check in and make sure things are progressing the way you want!

Quote from @Daniel Johnson:

For anyone investing - can you recommend a investor-focused realtor in Nova Scotia?  I'm interested in trying the short-term rental market with a couple waterfront properties.

Good to know about the podcast, I am definitely interested in any content specific to HRM.

Hey Josh, congrats on looking to get started. I own my properties outside of HRM, but am happy to connect. Although I haven't worked with him yet, Jason Paul - who runs a podcast about REI in NS (but focusing on HRM) is a realtor who knows investing as well.

Hi Paul, do you ever invest in deals around HRM? Would love to connect, I am also new looking to learn from/invest with others in the area.

Don.

Hey,
I don’t have any investments in HRM but certainly would.

@Derek Cavanaugh I’m in NS as well. Have also picked up a few solid deals, although the 2% rent cap increase has been a slight deterrent lately.
