Haven't found a good used unit yet.

I did get a lower bid for $2490 (tax included) to install a new 2.5 ton electric heatpump with 8 kw back up heat split system with a 10 year warranty. I'm confirming the brand.

Any HVAC experts out there to rate the HVAC brands?

I agree with Naga A. You get economies of scale if you focus in one or 2 areas. When I started buying out of state, I bought in 5 locations and have since sold in certain areas and have begun focusing in 3. If I were to do it all over again, I'd focus on 2. It's nice to have your property management reports centralized.

Focus on states that are pro-business and less lawsuit happy. Good luck. mck
