Hi @Samuel Lowell. Rosemont Forest Properties LLC is a company I created to manage my own investment property. I have used gov-sponsored financing so far since they were previous owner occupied properties, but will move to conventional in the future until I hit the maximum!

I am currently taking the CRE course, and it seems to be going well. It is one of the cheaper courses you can do. However, you don't really learn much about how to actually do RE so unless you plan on being an agent it might not be worth it for you.

Hi Rhonda! Welcome to BP. I am just down the road from you in Mead! This is a great place to learn about REI, I would advise reading as much as you can, make a plan, and then implement it! I am a buy&hold investor, but despite the hot market here I want to invest in CO. I already invested out of state and I dislike the distance from it for keeping an eye on my investment! However, many people do this, and are very successful, just depends on your level of comfort. If you have any questions, or want to meet up let me know!
