Real estate license

hello all,

So my question is this. My wife and I are very interested in real estate as a wealth builder but we are having trouble getting started because we have just been unsure about what the best approach would be. What we have decided is the both of us want to get our real estate licenses in Colorado just so we can learn the contract side of the transactions. Does anyone know what the best way to go about getting your license to sell real estate in Colorado. We currently reside in Fort Collins, but I commute to Denver everyday for work. I have done some research online but I do not want to just throw money at any school just in case the school or program is not good. And info helps, thanks for your time.
