By getting your license - you will be associated with other realtors in general. Most people have been mistreated in some way so there is a negative stigma automatically once you identify yourself as being a realtor. The National Association collects money from all agents so they can spend MILLIONS on advertising to try and overcome the negative stigma of the actions of many of the agents. Due to unethical actions, of agents - I got my license and worked under a Broker for 2-years and was then in business for myself for 8 more years. It was like a ton of bricks was taken off when I sent my license back in. You have to decide for yourself what action you will take - but remember that all success books state that you are rated by who you associate with!
that is why i think working with a "full time agent or team" is not always a plus. SOME of them are just worried about the numbers, pressure you, and have no patients.it's like running into one of those used car salesmen.
each office has an good "investor agent" you just have to figure out who that person is, because if you call they will all claim to be an investor agent to get your buisness.
