Short of your own savings, I have had recent success using credit cards to finance my last flip. Interest free seed capital for 12 months; Was just enough time for me to complete the reno and sell the property. I was made wise to the idea here on the forums. Very viable method, but needs to be fully vetted and solid timelines for your flip have to be firmly established.

I would rather debt. There are quite a few nasty pitfalls with selling equity.

I don't know about WCAP Financial, but I used Seedcapital.com, who I believe may be a related company, and were very happy with their services. I hadn't considered using credit cards to finance my REI, but I was able to sell within my interest free period, and made a great profit. I can't recommend them enough.

@Michael Medeiros, I have just finished using Seed Capital, and am very happy with the services offered. Yes, what they do is certainly something you could do yourself, but who has the time to apply for all those cards, or the experience to know which cards will have a more successful yield overall? Did you end up using their services in the end?

I have just finished utilizing seed capital's services, and am very impressed. So long as you get the terms & conditions crystal clear, and understand the interest free periods on the cards, you can't go wrong. Did you use Seed Capital in the end, @Account Closed?

After trying this myself, I can't speak more highly of this method! I was able to sell my first investment off before the 12 month interest free period had expired, and made quite the killing as a result. This is a valid method of investment for those who lack the initial capital themselves and who have issues getting a loan from a conventional financial lender.

I raised my first seed capital using a credit card financing solution. Seemed risky, but I was able to sell the property before my interest free periods had ran out, so it worked out in spades!

I have worked with Josh Allen and Funding for Flipping (aka Seed Capital) in the past, and have always found them to be very honest and reliable.

Tiny Hightower hardly seems like a real name, and creates an account just to post a ripoff report link? Likewise on John Sebastian, who has only ever made one post on Biggerpockets? Seem like disgruntled competitors to me, Seed Capital helped me get my business off the ground, and I would certainly not be where I am today without their services.

farming is dominated in North America by big-ag. Not really much room for young people who would want to return to paddock. Best to use the Seed Capital on a different sector of real estate in this man's opinion.
