Hi everyone, I'm in high school and when I go to college I want to get an associates degree in real estate because my dad said I have to go to at least two years in college. Does anybody have any recommendations of where to go in or near New York to get an associates degree in real estate. Please give some advice to me, thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm a freshman in high school and 14 years old, I'm also very eager to learn a lot about real estate! So I was thinking that over the summer (I will be 15 then) that I would be able to get an internship anywhere so that I could learn about real estate in any way possible, I can do whatever anybody wants me to do as long as I can gain knowledge about the real estate world. Does anybody know if this is possible for a 15 year old to get an internship because I will try very hard to get one, and if it can be done does anybody have any recommendations for summer internships near the westchester county, New York area that I can do. Please help me out I'm very ambitious and eager to learn as much as I can about real estate!

Thanks everyone, I am planning on getting an associates degree in real estate so I won't spend so much time and money in college. I will try and get a job while in college. I am looking to go to college queensborough community college near me in New York, the school offer free tuition but you have to follow some specific restrictions to qualify, so this could save time and money for me. Did anybody ever go here for college, is it any good?

@Account Closed I want to be a real estate investor focusing primarily on buy and holds and flips, and possibly later on some real estate development. But if I were to go to college I be do real estate agent to learn more about real estate and also save up money for the future. I want to grow my business as big as I can possibly make it and fulfill this dream before I am too old. Sorry for the late reply.

Hi guys, I am in high school, live in yonkers New York, and thinking of either going to college or getting a mentorship with someone. One thing that I know is that college is more expensive and you won't learn the same things that you would learn with a Mentorship, but it offers more security down the line if something goes wrong, whereas with a mentorship I can learn everything I need to know about real estate and decrease the chance of a business failure. I found a mentorship program that is in New York City, it's called REIA NYC, It seems legit to me but would want to know if anyone here knows anything about this program. Also, if anybody else has any recommendations that could also be good for a beginner also please tell me about it. So what would you do, would you do a Mentorship or go to college?

Hi everyone, when I eventually get ready to invest in real estate I will not be able to start out where I live here in westchester county, New York or anywhere somewhat close (1-2 hours maybe more) to here because of the really high prices. I don't know wether I should go further upstate or even in New Jersey or Connecticut which would be a long drive, or invest out of state so I can get better cash flow for a lower initial purchase price, then eventually I can work my way to invest here(if that would even be worth it). Does anybody from this area or any area in general that is very expensive have any advice for somebody just starting out like me. Please help me out on what to do. Overall, would it even be worth it to invest here even when I have more money down the line? Should I invest out of state? Where should I invest? Thanks for any advice!
