Should I do Mentorship or go to college

Hi guys, I am in high school, live in yonkers New York, and thinking of either going to college or getting a mentorship with someone. One thing that I know is that college is more expensive and you won't learn the same things that you would learn with a Mentorship, but it offers more security down the line if something goes wrong, whereas with a mentorship I can learn everything I need to know about real estate and decrease the chance of a business failure. I found a mentorship program that is in New York City, it's called REIA NYC, It seems legit to me but would want to know if anyone here knows anything about this program. Also, if anybody else has any recommendations that could also be good for a beginner also please tell me about it. So what would you do, would you do a Mentorship or go to college?

I agree, do both.

College will help you look at the bigger picture, and have a degree to fall back on if/when you need it.

Mentorship and/or learning in the real world will get you the knowledge on how to handle day-to-day issues.

If it were me, I wouldn't pay for mentorship. I'm sure there are some out there who would be worthwhile. But I'd recommend a part-time job while going to college. Look for jobs that will expand your knowledge and capability. Work as an office manager for an investment firm. Or an assistant to someone in the field you are interested in.

In the world we live in today, a degree AND real world experience is what you need to get ahead of the pack.
