I agree with that. Though, often during the summer the precious metals stay depressed. However, especially during these times you're right; you never know.

Mid and longer term I also consider what cartoon characters with modulated voices say: For example, a silver spot price of $20.00 per ounce and a physical silver price (I can hold it in my hand) of $80.00 per ounce.

Every 30 to 40 years these crazy gold folks get there way. If there was a chart for that it would be easy to see. We're at that point in time again.

Marc -

Those are all great points. I can see how one person's 'crap' note can be another person's 'home run'.

There was no intention of making Greg look bad or suggesting that his intention is win-lose. I was supporting Bryan's position. Which makes sense in a thread called "Marketing your note business" - that the way the post was phrased it could be perceived by as win-lose. The emphasis is my perception, not Greg's intention.

Ultimately I agree with your statement that his crap can be a home run for another investor - unless we have the same criteria. I am interested what Gregory's criteria is for keepers and sellers as well.

We're getting there. It's at $39 today. I am relieved about the pullback. I am also relieved that the media was calling 49 the top (which means it's not of course).

Silver is on sale. It might go further on sale. And stay in this range over the summer. Either way this is a buying opportunity in my opinion.

hm....prob not admitting on an open forum that you're keeping 'the good ones' for yourself...that implies you're selling the crap to your buyers... :)

That was my first thought when I read it. So even though it's not what was implied, it is what can easily be perceived.

I have a friend that is published. Her book(s) are in every Barnes and Noble and Borders. She gets 25 cents a sale. She is not a best seller. She quickly moved to other products - digital books, coaching, etc...

Like Kiyosaki, she is brilliant at marketing herself (that is how she got the book deal).

Writing a book first seems like a tougher road if you're not passionate about writing and marketing.

Thanks for the warning, Will.

I've never even heard of this guy. Though I am out of the guru loop. Aside from taking a few DRE licensed courses, I've been mostly using this site for RE education. And for my easy, passive, airchair-investing, create-wealth-while-I-watch-TV, path to extreme riches.

OK the last sentence is a joke. However, on a serious note, I wonder if this thread deserves an SEO friendly title - for all the people smart enough to Google this guy.

It almost looked as if the price of gold started climbing after every question he answered.

If Bernanke follows exactly what he said he would do in his thesis on the great depression he will not stop printing. Debasing is the way to go. That technique rhymes with centuries of history.

I think the markets are starting to see through his BS more clearly at this point: A different kind of transparency perhaps. For example, claiming that the oil/gas price issue is not related to the Fed. That claim was funny, except for the part about how it's more scary than funny.

That and maybe articles on Bloomberg quoting analysts whom are claiming that China is about to dump a Trillion of foreign reserve currency in to gold bullion.

Thanks Rich. Yep. Some of the goods I've purchased have already passed their "Best if used by" date.

I've had a competing entity as the registered agent on my LLC for over six years. So far no problems.
