Guess who is coming to town!!
Armondo M. is coming to CA and is holding many seminars in many cities here in CA, one of which in my hometown.
I despise RE gurus and will do my best to warn others of their hidden agendas and the "real story" behind their fluff and "pipe dream" sales tactics. As such, I have a particularly bad taste for this guy.
My attorney in San Antonio sued this guy and informed me that Armando was sued by many others for scams and failed RE ventures.
Anyways, for those who are new to RE, DO NOT be fooled by these RE gurus and their marketing and sales tactics. They promise the dream and deliver the nightmare, nothing more. Please warn your friends, family, and contacts to stay clear from this guy and others like him.

I've said this before - I believe many would-be investors USE these courses, boot-camps, and seminars as EXCUSES for not taking any action. It disguises their fear.
For any new investors contemplating dropping a few thousand for real estate "education", allow me to offer this alternative:
1. Read Biggerpockets. Cost = FREE
2. Check out books on real estate from your library. Cost = FREE
3. Attend local rest estate investor meetings and talk to the other ACTIVE INVESTORS in the group, not the keynote speaker/salesman. Cost = $20-25 per meeting or a couple hundred dollars for annual membership.
4. Put that $3,000, $10,000, $25,000 or whatever you were planning to spend on "training" for a REAL piece of REAL estate. You'll learn much more in the first 3 months of owning your own property than any of these "guru" jokers will teach you in years. And you'll still have a valuable asset at the end instead of a box full of worthless CD's, books, and tapes that you can't even get $10 for on eBay.
