BED BUG INFESTATION

Iyana Williams
Posted

My neighbor has told me about a major infestation of bed bugs in her home a couple of weeks ago,   I mean so bad that the school makes her son change clothes as soon as he gets there , it just so happen that I’m subjected to move before November the first and as I’m moving my son box spring has bed bugs in It and it’s only on the side where the wall is connected to my neighbors ... who is responsible ? Should I get her to treat my furniture before I move ? Should I still tell her?  Those treatments are expensive , No where in my lease agreement does it say I’m responsible for this . Was she suppose to get the other apartments treated too if she was already aware of this issue ... I’m so upset because those treatments are very expensive and I DO NOT WANT THEM TRAVELING TO MY NEE PLACE . This is not fair considering the fact that their coming from my neighbors house

@Iyana Williams If your renting you need to tell your landlord. The company that treated the bedbugs should have inspected the entire building and treated other units as well. Bedbugs never stay in one unit on a multi family infestation. Ask me how I know that lol.
