@David Lilley Nice work! Is this your first self-storage investment? Do you find it similar to the multifamily you'd done?

Hello Fellow BP'ers!

I am currently looking at a prospective flip property that contains a septic tank and utilizes well water. I have zero experience with this situation. I am looking for some insight regarding legal/municipal mandates I may need to carryout, inspections and testing, average cost to ensure everything works properly and key items or big ticket repairs to watch out for. The house is in Pennesylvania and currently vacant. Any insight provided would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help!

@Manuel Salce I did roughly the same and, so far, received similar results. I am actively taking the advice  @Ehsan Rishat provided and I am continuing to reach out until the right deal(s) come along. I'd love to follow your progress as well.

Best of luck,

MB

Hey All...Can anyone from the Allentown, Bethlehem / Lehigh Valley, PA recommend a real estate friendly accountant? I have found some online who claim they have experience in real estate but a referral would be helpful as well.

Thank you,

MB

@Jason Behrens I am in the same position. I am working with Zator Law to draft up an LLC and plan on using them for legal guidance when needed. Let me know how you make out

@Darleen Justance Welcome to the BP family! I am located in Pennsylvania, specifically the Lehigh Valley, and I focus on Flipping and value-add Multifamily...In case you need them, here are few things to check out as you work your way around the site:

Find and connect with other BP members that are in your area: https://www.biggerpockets.com/search/users

Set up some keyword alerts to notify you when members are discussing something that interests you. I use this a lot for location based discussions: http://www.biggerpockets.com/alerts

Read Beginner’s Guide: http://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-investing

As far as meet-ups go, definitely check out Justin Brown's. It's good stuff! Here is the link to the event thread...https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521/topics/650490-lehigh-valley-investors-monthly-meet-up-january-meeting

Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Good luck
