I realize this is a question with a lot of variables, the reason for it is if a house is falling down and it costs too much to repair it than it's worth, why not make a stupid low offer for it, and in the chance the seller accepts it, take the house down and resell the lot.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? This was a 50ish acre property in rural Tennessee. 

How does someone who owns sell it when title wants a survey done but it's boundaries can't be located?

Be careful in Champaign, violent crime seems to be increasing.

I'd like to see land as an option when selecting a property type.

Does anyone know how to check the recorded sales prices for properties in San Berardino County? I feel like it should be here somewhere, http://www.sbcounty.gov/assessor/pims/(S(j1gyavnut0o0xcy05pxcant0))/PIMSINTERFACE.ASPX , put the APN in the top left in Parcel Inquiry, and then find the info in the data below, but I can't make sense of it. Perhaps it's on a diff website? I'm not looking for sold comps, but the sold prices of specific parcels.

You can go to COSL.org and buy tax deed properties directly from the counties. Are there any other tax deed states that have a system like this, where you can see what's available and make an offer or buy direct for the back tax amount, instead of waiting for the next auction?
