Has anyone ever experienced this before? This was a 50ish acre property in rural Tennessee.

How does someone who owns sell it when title wants a survey done but it's boundaries can't be located?

Find a different surveyor who can actually survey and not just look for markers.  I had surveys done for 2 properties in TN and had to hire real surveyors to actually survey.  They placed the markers so they will be there next time:)  And recorded the markers with the County.

Ask your realtor, County building department, or a local building company.  They should have recommendations.  Where I am there is a back up sometimes, maybe 3 months in the Spring.  Winter is fast to get them out.

Don't give up!
