@Marie Loz Have you looked into house hacking? Since you don't own a primary residence, that might be a great first step for you.  Do some searches here in the forums, maybe set up some key word alerts for it to see when/what others are talking about regarding it.    Do you know where to set up the key word alerts on here?  Also, connect with a local real estate agent at some point, they can help you find some properties that match your needs. and get them to connect you to a local lender when the time is right.

@Quesi Cato I'd start with a local real estate agent. Are you in the military? Will you be using your VA loan if so? (you'll want to find an agent that is experienced in VA loans)

@Luis Silva  Did you use a real estate agent to get the deal there? You should be able to contact them, and get some good contacts to start with.
