Nice deal! I’m currently looking at buying a car wash. Did you use an SBA loan?

@Ryan Deasy did you end up buying the car wash? I’m exploring getting into the business myself in the Salt Lake City area. I’m curious if you pulled the trigger and had any learned lessons.

I can probably help… feel free to DM me

Hi @Dan Thomas! I got that covered but my question is focused around marketing and finding clients. Got any perspective?

I have operated several personal short term rentals in both Seattle and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, have established systems and actually have hired an employee to manage the day to day operations, like managing bookings, messaging guests, updating dynamic pricing and what have you. My intention in 2022 is to step into property management and add a handful of short term rental clients in the Coeur d’Alene area to help manage their short term rentals.

What are strategies for finding clients? I posted an add on Craigslist. What else?

Has anyone had success reaching out to hosts through the Airbnb or VRBO app? Any tips or things to be aware of before I start reaching out to current listings?

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated!

I'm happy to help James! Feel free to reach out

I’m glad to share my experience, Alex! I focus on indy and own 14 properties, mainly duplexes. It’s a great market if you know where to look.

There are some good youtube videos out there that cover this topic specifically in Indy. Feel free to PM me if you want me to point you in the right direction.

Good idea with the modified house hack!
