@Gerardo Hernandez

What is your earnest money deposit? I believe you can retract your offer but you may lose your EMD, may be better than losing a lot of $ in the long run.

@Kris H. Amen to that. The key to this whole issue is why marry someone after only knowing them for 3 months? That’s kind of a recipe for disaster. Go back to the drawing board, assess YOUR life and YOUR goals, and if the Misses is not a good fit, well, you know the answer. Maybe get some counseling for a few years before getting into another relationship, because clearly, you married without considering the long term implications.

@Leon F.@Moises R Cosme

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it, and like Moises said, just start the eviction proceedings.  He did not buy the home for the $15,000 as stated in the contract.

@James Gates Thank you for sharing this! My daughter is just graduating college and is planning to buy her first home in the Fort Worth Texas area because that’s where she was offered a job. With very little money down and using a traditional 3% down conventional loan, She will try to do the same strategy by renting out three of the four bedrooms, having her mortgage paid for her, and at the same time saving up $3,000 a month to buy another (fixer) for cash. then fixing it up and renting it out, then refinancing cash out, Etc, etc...
