Not leaving a reason for the call is my biggest pet-peeve too!

And Will, if you left me that message, I would call and call and call....until I got you live!!! :D

Flat fee listers have not caught on in this market. But a few years ago, when they entered, we were worried. But they haven't hurt our market share.

I am really learning alot from these responses......

My husband and a friend went to his "seminar" last week. When my husband texted me and said "$1500 for the seminar", I responded "If you paid that, do not come home."

Needless to say....he came home! :D

Hi Am.

Yes, you can learn a lot about an area from Zillow and Trulia. That doesn't mean all the information is correct. Most of it comes from county records. And if it's recorded wrong(sf, price, etc), that's what they post. And trust me, ALOT of clerical errors are made at the local levels!!

With that being said, agents do more than "know their area". I posed this question because, as an agent myself, I am trying to learn the new marketplace and how to remain successful in it.

And as an investor, I would hope other agents read this so they too can learn what investors need and learn how to better solve their problems.

Then....everyone wins!!!

All the responses have merit.

What it boils down to is..what's in your tool box?

Investors are here to stay. Good agents will educate themselves and hopefully get out of their comfort zone.

The more tools you have...the more successful you'll be.

There are lots of other threads on Subject 2's. In the search bar(above right), type in: subject 2's or sub2's or subject to's
