I don’t specifically but I was about to make a post with some questions similar to yours in regards to Aberdeen which is a neighboring town. I know an investor who is in the middle of rehabbing an apartment complex and he wants out of Aberdeen ASAP so I am not sure he would want to move in to hoquaim. I guess the city has been very difficult to deal with.

Storage is great. It is a pretty simple and straightforward investment. Not a lot goes in to the buildings so cap ex is low. You have a lot more tenants but their needs are less and eviction if needed is much easier. 

Land is plentiful in the NW however finding land that isn’t price inflated is difficult. Especially if you are looking for land that would be suitable for vacation rentals. I have not personally developed land for vacation use so I may not be the best person to talk to about this venture. With that being said the NW has become extrely popular for vacationers and permanent residents so I have no doubts that you will be successful.

My investors and myself would be interested in development as long as demand is there. Is this land/market calling for a big A class facility or is it more of a standard B class storage facility?

I am also looking for a good commercial broker/s to help me find self storage facilities in Washington State, Oregon, Louisiana, Idaho, and Montana. I have found it much harder to find a commercial broker than a residential broker.
