@Georgep. No we don't need that. I just need a roof over our heads 2 beds would suffice. I understand I am putting people on limitations but as I stated before we have a house we are selling so that is unfortunately what my budget looks like. Hello Bigger pockets community! My husband just accepted a job offer in Jacksonville, FL yay! I am reaching out because we are in need of a rental property preferably a short term lease but we are willing to go for a full year. The catch is we need a property with a fenced in yard due to the fact we have 2 dogs and a potbellied pig. The other catch is that we have a home here is Ohio we are still trying to sell, so we are hoping to spend no more than $800 a month. Any investors out there have something we can rent?

Hello Chris! Welcome to Bigger Pockets!! Biggerpockets has changed my life. I haven't had the opportunity to purchase an investment just yet. I am actually moving to Jacksonville within the next couple of months and am super excited for that city to be the city I start my journey to leave the coporate world. We intend to do the same maybe find a place we can rent one side and live in the other. Good luck!

I am an agent here in Ohio so I have to sell our home and then I will head down there. Will you allow multiple pets by chance? We are very good tenants noto sure how to prove that to you but maybe references. Thanks for your time! What part of Ohio is your husband from?

Hello All!

My family and I are looking to move to the Jacksonville area. We are hoping for the end of the summer potentially earlier but we are uncertain at this moment. We are open to the types of properties to live in. I want to invest in the area as well. We are looking for something maybe to rent for a couple of months until we can purchase a place. Does anyone have a single family property that would allow pets? Or potentially a duplex or 4 plex that we would consider purchasing to start investing that way, possibly use the house hacking route. I know it has been several months since your move. I was just scrolling through the forums and saw this post. My husband and I are looking to move to Jacksonville as well hopefully this summer if we can. We are still looking for jobs. I was curious how everything worked out for you? Did you get a deal done?
