@David Song really? Not much value? Bro, one BP member to another this is greatest accumulation of real estate investing info possibly and probably in world history.

Imperfect, sure. Nothing is perfect ( except my girlfriend ) but it is not only the best it is great. There’s are over hundreds of thousands of members or more most of whom are well intentioned, the best podcast on the planet, everyday thousands of people are being helped by other members who know more and share their knowledge.

This is the ultimate platform for real estate education and ought to be the model for all educational social platforms. Let’s not downplay it because of the few using it to their advantage.

@Jeff Cagle I think Josh Dorkin is set to testify before Congress later this year about it.

@Lynnette E. I think we can help by reporting them as it is usually pretty obvious and I don’t want BP to turn into a guru/influencer hangout.

It ruins the experience for everyone and I’m sick of seeing people being taken on every other site.

This thread is a reminder to me of how grateful I am that political discussion is not allowed on BP. I haven’t been on FB for a while and I am so much less irritated.

Anyway, no. The housing market will not react.

@Timothy Duggan I think you would be better seeing this as an opportunity to get the best tenant not the highest paying tenant. If you were good at 1900 then make sure out of those willing to pay it you get the best one.

If you go commercial/ multi family this would be a good way to go.

@Connor Stark I would first seek counsel on whether you can legally get in trouble for blasts. By seek counsel I mean on BP.

I like the idea if it’s legal and if it works. I used to individually text people to get leads for flooring but I was texting realtors and most of them never respond.

Even now I get texts from Home Advisor and scammers and I ignore them because it’s easy to.

Why not consider a phone call? It’s more work but it’s the most effective way I’ve had for generating biz.

But try it. It can’t hurt if you do it right.

@CJ M. Is there a fine for blasts but not for individual texts?

Your legal recourse is to pay for it.

You don’t need an angry neighbor anyway.

@Matthew Reid you either said rent in the area is 50% or meant to say buildings are 50% occupied. Either case is bad for you.

You might make it work but why bother in a neighborhood like that?
