@Logan Beckner I would recommend setting strict screening criteria in what you are looking for in a potential tenant.  BiggerPockets has some recommend tenant screening companies in the landlord resources tab.  You can also find this link by hovering over the tools section and clicking on landlord resources under services.

I would recommend checking out what each service offers and choose what best fits your screening needs.  Make sure to be patient and find a tenant who fits every part of your screening criteria.  It is very important to make the most out of your investment and renting to someone who does not qualify for what you are looking for could end up costing you money in the long run.

@Rosaria Pipitone Congratulations on your new duplex!  I would recommend setting strict screening criteria for what you are looking for in a potential tenant.  BiggerPockets has some recommended screening services in the landlord resources tab.  You can also find the link provided by hovering over tools and clicking on landlord resources under services.

I recommend doing your due diligence and researching which company best fits your screening needs.  It is very important to stay patient and find someone who will be the best fit to make sure you get the most out of your investment.

@Josh Buchanan I would recommend checking out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets to see the recommended screening companies available for you.  I would suggest looking into what each company offers and going with what best fits your screening needs.  Also, @Domenick T. thank you for the mention that is much appreciated.

@Andrew Busby I would recommend checking out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets.  You can also find the landlord resources button by hovering over tools and clicking on landlord resources under services.  There are recommended screening services there which you can look into to see which screening service best fits your needs.  I would also recommend setting strict screening criteria to steer away from people who would just be wasting your time.

@Diane Sangwa I would recommend setting strict screening criteria for what you are looking for in a potential tenant.  I think you may find it helpful to check out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets to check out some recommend screening services they have.  You can also find the "landlord resources" button by hovering over tools and selecting landlord resources under services.  Once you see the screening services they recommend you can look further into what each service offers and see what service best fits your screening needs.

@George Murphy I would recommend checking out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets.  They have recommended tenant screening companies that you can look into to see which company best fits your screening needs.  I would also recommend setting strict screening criteria of what you are looking for in a potential tenant.  This will help steer away from people who would just be wasting your time.

Thank you very much @Leah Stuever for the mention by the way!

@Josh Abner I agree with Jeremy, Brandon Turners book "The Book On Managing Rental Properties" is a very informative read.  It is important to make sure that you set strict screening criteria to make sure you find the most qualified potential tenant.  Screening criteria will also deter others who would just be a waste of your time.

You should check out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets.  BiggerPockets provides a list of recommended screening companies that you should check out to see what company fits your needs best.  You can also find the landlord resources tab by hovering over the tools section and clicking the landlord resources button under services.

@Jacob Phillips  As far as tenant screening resources go, I would recommend checking out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets as they have recommended screening services on there as well as some other information you may find helpful for screening potential tenants.  You can also access the landlord resources area by hovering over tools and selecting landlord resources under services.

@Latavia Banks I would recommend setting strict screening criteria for what you are looking for in a potential tenant.  Make sure to showcase your screening criteria on your rental application to steer away applicants who would just be wasting your time.  BiggerPockets has many solid resources for  recommended tenant screening companies in the landlord resources tab.  You can also find this page by hovering over tools and selecting "Landlord Resources" under services.

@Francisco Lara I believe you will find it very beneficial to check out the landlord resources tab on BiggerPockets.  You will also be able to find this tab by clicking on the tools drop-down box and then selecting landlord resources under the tools section.  This tab will provide you with some recommended tenant screening services that you may have an interest in using.  As far as finding a solid rental application to use, I would recommend just typing "rental application" in the search bar and taking a look at what other BiggerPockets users find helpful.
