i have a small office complex in my area that is going to tax sale nov 19. I have spoken to existing owner about subject To purchase , but he wants nothing more to do with property. Would the lender even discuss assumption of this loan or a subject to purchase. It is a small bank , decent property. Jim

i have a small 3 unit office complex in my area.it is going on sheriffs sale nov 19, I have spoken with current owner who wants to walk away, but he won't discuss any creative ways to get this done. Would the bank even be able to talk to me about me assuming this loan or a subject to purchase.  Jim

there is a small 4 unit office complex in my area that I am interested in. We have other commercial properties in the area. This property is to be sold at sheriffs sale nov. 19. I have spoken with current owner about assuming payments or buying subject to the existing mortgage. He has completely walked away and wants nothing to do with lender or property. Would I have a leg to stand on if I approach the lender and ask if they would allow me to assume this loan. Jim holmes
