@Adam Jason check out fort worth...lots of growth in that area. Also - outskirts of Houston such as Hockley, Waller, Cypress, etc...Houston is quickly growing and expanding to those 'outskirts'. I can send you some stuff if you are interested.

I LOVE the 77070 area, I lived there myself. Lots of potential and your price range will work. However, you must be careful...lots of that area ended up under water during the flood. I can help you through the beginning stages of the home buying process (such as pre approval) and help you find a great house. I bought my first home 3 years ago, so I've been there! It can be confusing and hard...but super rewarding! Let me know if I can help.

@Justin Kane I think Fort Worth has lots of potential too. What parts of Fort Worth are you looking into? Im thinking the Heights area and new Clear Fork building will really drive rental prices up even further.

Hey @Taro Wichman I would def recommend joining Nextdoor. Its similar to FB as far as formatting goes however it is specific to your neighborhood/area. A lot of times they have paint, tile, appliances, etc, listed for very cheap. Another option is habitat for humanity, they have a location in Houston. You can actually call them and tell them what you are looking for and they will tell you what they have in stock. Hope that helps.
