@Rex Celle yes we plan on renting it out ASAP. Has new HVAC unit. Some parts of the floor need to be redone most of it is laminate wood. Some areas aren’t good but not bad either. New paint in the kitchen only. it comes with gas stove and fridge. Our next step is getting a property inspection done

My dad just got prequalified in a house that’s listed at $90,000 in south Texas. We looked at it earlier with a realtor too. 3bd/1 & 1/2 ba She said it’s a “hot house” with several inquiries already . Any advice/suggestions would help !

$100,000?!? wow things add up huh ? the floors look like laminate/vinyl some parts need help not all.   id say for sure new paint, new countertops, new stove/fridge, new front door & just a few windows need to be replaced. i drove around the property and some of them have already been replaced.  the house would probably look better without the car port too . or shoud i keep the car port. its not too bad but couple boards may need to be replaced & repainted

@Jaysen Medhurst if I did 20% down , 4% interest , 30 year mortgage, according to realtor.com the mortgage would be $549

Property Taxes are $165 & insurance would be $65 , principal & interest $319 = $549
